It’s that time of year again, cooling temperatures, college football and the Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte. That’s right, it’s time for fall fashion! And this year, the 1970’s have inspired all the latest trends.
Here are my Top 5 Favorite 2015 Fall Fashion Trends:
1. The color Brown: Designers are inspired by the 1970’s…so brown is the color palette of choice. However, liven up this color by adding reds, golds and creams.
2. Flare: The 70’s are inspiring jeans by adding some flare. The flare style are the most flattering for women by showing off your curves and lengthening your legs. Add a pair of heels and you are good to go day or night. I just bought the pair below; and I have never been so proud of my behind.
Remember the 70’s runway models with plaid jumpers and knee-high boots, well it’s now your reality. But I am more into plaid because of Starz show “Outlander”…hmm Jamie Fraser! Plus, add a turtleneck (another hot fall trend) to this jumper and you have another look.
4. Winter Florals
This trend was surfacing last year and it’s officially here to stay. I wore this look last year pairing my winter floral skirt (Gap) with a black/white sweater (contrast), black tights and suede tied heels.
Currently: Pleated Floral Print Skirt – Gap $59
Camo has been in style for quite a while…and continues into this fall. I am in love with the entire look!
And those are my top picks for fall. Get shopping and enjoy how fabulous you will look!
